Bamber Valley - Talking with kids

I’ve always loved watching American Ninja Warrior, and knew it was a popular show.  Clara and I don’t have kids though, so I never realized how popular it was with the younger generations.  In case you didn’t know this either, it’s really popular!!  They know their stuff, too!

Sharing Wallace’s story

Since being on Season 8, I’ve been able to visit some local schools to talk about homeless dogs that need help, as well as dog safety.  It’s been a great experience, and I’m grateful to have this opportunity to inspire children to get involved with their communities and to help dogs looking for a home.  As I type this, one of the 4th grade classes at Bamber Valley Elementary School is working hard to make blankets, gather supplies, and spread awareness for Paws and Claws Humane Society here in Rochester.  It’s been awesome working with these kids and seeing their excitement to be a part of such a positive effort!

Can’t wait to see what they are able to accomplish for the dogs!

UPDATE:  Check out all the beds Ms. Seefeldt’s class hand made and supplies they gathered for local dogs and cats!
